The Production Technician Trainee supports daily production operations by assisting in the preparation, testing, and movement of manufacturing batches within a regulated production environment. This entry-level role provides hands-on training in batch formulation, quality control procedures, and equipment operations while reinforcing company safety and quality standards.
The Production Technician Trainee works closely with Production Technicians and Quality personnel to ensure products are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with all established specifications.
Support the preparation and mixing of product batches in accordance with manufacturing manuals, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Perform routine laboratory and in-process quality control tests under supervision.
Assist in monitoring batch accuracy, documentation, and compliance requirements.
Safely transport raw materials and finished goods within the facility, including forklift operation when certified.
Participate in troubleshooting basic production or testing equipment issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all safety policies, regulatory requirements, and PPE protocols.
Strong interest in learning manufacturing operations and quality control processes.
Ability to follow detailed procedures and accurately document work activities.
Forklift experience preferred but not required.
Experience in agriculture, crop protection, chemical production, or related industry is a plus.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
Work performed in a production and warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and chemical materials.
Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, goggles, and respirators as necessary.

Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required to support production demands.
Hourly pay range: $20.00–$25.00
