Chemical Production Handler

Job Summary                          Chemical Production Handler 

The Material Handler in a lab environment is responsible for receiving, storing, distributing, and tracking materials, scooping chemical, and moving samples within a laboratory setting. This role ensures the efficient flow of materials throughout the company and shipping department.  There is some lifting and forklift experience is a plus!

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials, chemicals, and laboratory supplies.
• Accurately label, store, and maintain inventory of reagents, samples, consumables, and equipment.
• Deliver materials to lab personnel in a timely and organized manner.
• Assist with the preparation, scooping and packaging of samples or materials for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in a laboratory or regulated environment (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, clinical lab) as a lab assistant or material handler is a plus.
• Knowledge of material handling procedures, safety practices, and basic chemical handling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Position Type:  Full Time Temp To Perm

Pay:   $19.00 will pay more depending on experience

Schedule:  6:30am-3pm Mon-Fri with some Saturdays when needed
