Express Employment is looking for a Sales Assistant. This position requires 1 year of current experience. 

The Design Sales Assistant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while supporting sales initiatives and maintaining the boutique’s visual and operational standards. This role focuses on building customer relationships, assisting with styling and wardrobe solutions, and contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment.

Pay: $20/Hour

Location: Chico, Ca

Work Hours: Monday – Friday 12:00 noon – 5:00 pm

Job Description:
•    Provide outstanding customer service by greeting, engaging, and assisting clients in a friendly and professional manner.
•    Offer personalized styling advice and product recommendations to meet customer needs.
•    Achieve individual and team sales goals through proactive selling techniques.
•    Maintain in-depth knowledge of Chico’s products, promotions, and brand standards.
•    Assist with visual merchandising, ensuring displays are attractive and aligned with company guidelines.
•    Support inventory management, including restocking, organizing merchandise, and processing shipments.
•    Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for purchases, returns, and exchanges.
•    Build and maintain customer relationships through clienteling and follow-up communication.
•    Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming boutique environment.
•    Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and store events.

Qualifications:
•    1 year of previous retail or sales experience required.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Customer service experience
•    Attention to detail
•    Basic computer and POS proficiency
•    Strong sales and persuasion skills
•    Attention to detail
•    Time management and multitasking abilities
•    Ability to stand for extended periods.
•    Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 25 pounds.
•    Ability to perform tasks such as bending, reaching, and climbing ladders as needed.
