Express Employment Casper, WY is looking for an Excavator/Dozer Operator for one of our valued clients.

Job Summary:

Supports construction projects by safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment used for earthmoving, grading, trenching, and site development. This role is ideal for individuals who are experienced, safety‑minded, and comfortable working in fast‑paced outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators, dozers, and other heavy equipment to perform digging, grading, cutting, backfilling, and site preparation.
• Read and follow site plans, grade stakes, and instructions from supervisors to complete work accurately.
• Perform routine equipment inspections, basic maintenance, and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Assist with job‑site tasks such as material movement, trenching, and support activities when equipment operation is not required.
• Ensure safe operation around utilities, structures, personnel, and other equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work area.
• Communicate effectively with crew members, foremen, and project managers to maintain smooth workflow and productivity

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating excavators, dozers, or similar heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of job‑site safety practices and safe operating procedures.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
• Solid work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow directions.
• CDL not required but considered a plus (depending on employer needs).
• Ability to read grade stakes, reference marks, or GPS grade control systems is a plus
