Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable Accounts Receivable Assistant to support a local company during a maternity leave coverage period. This temporary role will focus on accounting support for experienced candidates, or general office assistance for those without accounting experience.

Duration: 14–16 weeks (late February/early March start)
Schedule: Office-based, weekday hours

Responsibilities May Include

For candidates with AR/AP experience:

  • Process credit card payments and deposits
  • Assist with billing and accounts receivable tasks
  • Support general accounting functions as needed

For candidates without accounting experience:

  • Answer phones and greet walk-in visitors
  • Assist with mail handling and basic office duties
  • Provide administrative support to the team

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong reliability and professionalism
  • Comfortable working in an office environment
  • Accounting experience preferred but not required
  • Friendly communication skills and attention to detail
