Position Summary

The Filtration Systems Plumbing Assembler is responsible for assembling, installing, and testing piping and plumbing components used in industrial filtration, gas and fluid handling systems. This role ensures that all assemblies meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The ideal candidate has experience working with industrial piping, mechanical assemblies, and manufacturing tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble plumbing and piping components for industrial filtration systems according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
  • Install pipes, valves, fittings, pumps, gauges, and related components
  • Cut, thread, bend, glue, or weld piping materials (PVC, CPVC, copper, stainless steel, carbon steel, etc.) as required
  • Perform pressure testing and leak testing of completed assemblies
  • Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
  • Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and measuring equipment safely and effectively
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S and safety standards
  • Identify and report design, material, or quality issues to supervisors or engineering
  • Assist with system packaging and preparation for shipment when needed
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety policies

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (technical training preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in industrial plumbing, mechanical assembly, or manufacturing
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, piping diagrams, and technical drawings
  • Familiarity with common plumbing materials and fittings
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in filtration, water treatment, gas and fluid handling systems
  • Pipe welding or solvent welding certification
  • Forklift certification
  • Experience with pressure testing procedures

FULL TIME  Day Shift  Monday - Friday  5:30 am to 2:00 pm 

PAY   Range $18.00- $21.00 hour -Experience Rated
