Quality Control Technician

Located in Los Angeles, CA

Salary: $17.50 - $18.50

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting and setting up new electric and acoustic instruments to ensure they meet The Guitars Company's quality standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining the craftsmanship and performance expectations of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quality control inspections and setups of electric and acoustic guitars.
• Meet daily inspection/setup quotas to support department production goals.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with instruments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience playing guitar or bass.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of guitar setup and maintenance.
• Formal education or training in guitar setup is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools used in guitar setup and repair.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with a consistent and reliable work ethic.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
