General Labor / Forklift Operator

Express Employment Professionals is helping our client, a local industrial recycling facility, hire general labor forklift operators to join their team. This role involves helping move and process recyclables in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

General Labor/Forklift Operator Job Highlights:

• Hours: 2^nd shift – 3:30pm-12:00am
• Pay: $18-20 per hour (based on experience)

What You Will Be Doing:

This role is responsible for unloading incoming trucks and preparing materials to be fed into processing machines using forklifts. You’ll help move, stage, and prepare materials to be shredded, baled, and shipped out. This is a hands-on position that involves a mix of manual labor as well as forklift operation.

• Operate forklift and skid steer to unload incoming trucks safely and efficiently
• Transport rolls of paper and other materials to designated processing areas
• Hand cut materials and prepare them for processing
• Move finished bales to staging areas and load outbound trucks
• Assist with general production and warehouse duties as needed

What They Are Looking For:

• 2+ years of forklift experience required
• Ability to stand and walk for 8-hour shifts
• Comfortable working around machinery and moving equipment
