Print Associate

Located in Ottawa, ON

Salary: $21.00 to $22.00

Join the team at our client's small, downtown-based company where creativity meets precision! They're looking for a highly organized and detail-driven Printing Associate to help deliver exceptional print services and take their clients' visions to life.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year experience in a related role, preferably in the printing industry
• Previous design experience is a significant advantage
• Good mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• A diploma in Graphic Arts or Design is an asset
• You must be a quick learner, eager to take on new challenges and responsibilities
• Physical demands: ability to lift up to 50lbs and handle large materials
• Ability to work comfortably in a small office environment with close proximity to colleagues

Duties may include but are limited to:

·         Manage and prepare print materials, including binding and formatting documents to ensure they meet print-ready standards

·         Provide exceptional client communication, including meeting with clients to discuss project requirements and objectives, coordinating with clients to gather necessary information and materials, and providing regular updates to clients and team members

·         Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner

·         Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to design and prepare materials for print, including importing documents from Word and other formats

·         Troubleshoot formatting issues to ensure proper printing and maintain consistency and quality in all materials produced

·         Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by management or supervisors, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in print production and design

Wage: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour based on experience

Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 4:00pm
