Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Vancouver, WA Pay: $19.00/hour

 

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance Technician to join the food production team at our client in Vancouver, WA. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and verify production processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (GMP, HACCP, SQF, or similar)
• Conduct routine inspections, sampling, and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
• Record and maintain accurate quality data, logs, and documentation
• Identify and report non-conformances and work with production teams to implement corrective actions
• Assist with internal audits and third-party inspections
• Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the facility
• Communicate quality concerns promptly to supervisors and production staff
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and food safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, or a related field is a plus
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or quality assurance role preferred
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, and food safety regulations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Must be available to work various shifts, including weekends if needed
