Welding / Assembly Operator

Salary: $16 / hour

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking reliable and efficient candidates for a Welding / Assembly Operator position with a Global Mobility Systems Manufacturer. This position will pay $16 per hour, and the hours are Monday - Thursday from 5:00AM-3:30PM.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain equipment in the assembly and welding area including, but not limited to robotic weld cells, automated assembly equipment, manual welding equipment, and manual assembly equipment
• Monitor quality of products using measuring tools, gauges, and fixtures
• Read and interpret job instruction sheets and inspection forms
• Record keeping with respect to quality, productivity, and downtime
• Completion of daily log entries
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance are essential

Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting 10 to 50 lbs.
• Has a High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1-3 months related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Capable of standing/walking on a concrete surface for the entire shift
• Capable of working in a non temperature-controlled environment
• Capable of physical movements such as bending, stooping, and crouching
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Steel toed shoes/boots
