We are currently seeking a few warehouse associates for a local company in the South East side of Winston/Kernersville. Associates would be inspecting pallets and keeping up with production. This is an evaluation to hire position and the company is looking for long term employees.

 

We currently have openings for temporary 1st shift.  

 

Shift hours are:

1st shift 7am-3:30pm

$14/hr With a .50 cent raise after 30 days

 

Position Summary
The General Labor position is responsible for processing all materials through the Service Center standard operating procedures. This position ensures all materials leaving the facility are in an acceptable condition and meet the customer specifications.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform product processing per documented work instructions.
• Accurate completion of all paperwork.
• Maintain warehouse accuracy and report any issues that could affect proper inventory counts.
• Ensures all efforts meet the quality requirements of the customer; reporting any issues immediately.
• Inspect product and prep for shipment.
• Maintain safe and clean work areas throughout the warehouse; must follow all ORBIS safety rules and policies.

Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired

• Must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English; read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and product recipes/material identifications
• Must have mathematical skill to add, subtract, multiply and divide and the ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English one-on-one and in small group situations
• Must have ability to reason and address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
• Ability to perform overtime and weekend work
• Ability to work rotating job stations
• Ability to effectively work in teams
• Ability to professionally accept constructive feedback and criticism
• Ability to work in a warehouse-based environment with moving equipment and people
• Ability to team lift objects up to 55 lbs
