310T Mechanic
Located in Sarnia, ON
Salary: $35.00/Hour
Our client is currently seeking a certified 310T Truck & Coach Technician to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced heavy-duty mechanic who takes pride in preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and keeping freight equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and other freight equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts usage
- Utilize diagnostic tools and computerized maintenance systems
- Perform welding and fabrication as required
Qualifications:
- Certified 310T Trade Certification (or equivalent heavy-duty mechanic certification)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in heavy truck or freight vehicle maintenance
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency with diesel engine analyzers and diagnostic scanners
- Experience using hydraulic and pneumatic tools
- Welding and fabrication skills required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and bending
Wage: $35.00/Hour
