Job Overview

We are hiring an Electrical Project Manager / Senior Project Manager with real electrical field experience to run commercial and industrial electrical projects. This role is ideal for an electrician who has moved into project management and understands both the field and the office side of the work.

You will be responsible for owning projects from start to finish — managing crews, schedules, materials, budgets, and client communication — while keeping jobs safe, on time, and profitable.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage commercial and/or industrial electrical projects from kickoff through closeout

• Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors

• Work closely with field leadership to keep jobs moving and crews productive

• Maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking

• Review and approve change orders and job costs

• Read and interpret electrical drawings and construction documents

• Ensure work is completed safely and meets code and quality standards

• Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams

• For senior-level candidates: oversee multiple projects and mentor PMs and foremen

Required Experience

• Electrical experience is required (this is not a general construction PM role)

• Licensed electrician OR 5–12+ years of electrical construction experience

• Hands-on electrical field background (commercial and/or industrial)

• Project management or job-running experience

• Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings

• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety procedures

• Experience managing schedules, crews, and job costs

• Valid driver’s license

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience managing projects over $1M

• Experience supervising PMs, foremen, or large crews

• Strong computer and project management software skills
