Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Northeast San Antonio, is seeking a Production Control Technician for a long-term, potentially temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, production workflow understanding, and the ability to coordinate across departments to keep manufacturing schedules on track.

Pay: $25–$33/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Assignment Type: Long-term, potential temp-to-hire
 
Duties for the Production Control Technician include:
  • Monitoring, managing, and controlling manufacturing and production software to ensure production schedules are met
  • Tracking Sales Orders and Work Order operations to maintain workflow accuracy
  • Coordinating with inventory management to prevent material shortages and excesses
  • Planning and monitoring material movement throughout the production cycle
  • Executing and processing change orders
  • Investigating production control issues and assisting Quality with basic root-cause analysis
  • Ensuring production personnel follow company procedures and safety guidelines
  • Monitoring job execution and adjusting schedules as needed for timely delivery
  • Analyzing customer orders and developing/maintaining production plans and schedules

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong time-management and process-management skills
  • Experience with production planning, logistics, or supply chain coordination
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze workflow data
  • Experience with Acumatica ERP is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
