Salary: $54K-$72K, depending on exp.

We are currently recruiting for Freight Dispatchers for a transportation & logistics company in Port Coquitlam. This is a Full-Time & Permanent role working alongside a team of 5 Dispatchers.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of freight dispatch and/or logistics freight, trucking operations scheduling experience
• Fluent with MS Office Suite and transportation logistics routing software
• Collaborative team player with the ability to multitask & remain calm under pressure
• Excellent communication skills: written & verbal
• Employment References & a Triton Background check will be conducted upon further consideration of a candidate

Duties:

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers to job sites efficiently and cost-effectively
• Track and trace deliveries
• Monitor driver routes and provide real-time updates to customers and internal teams
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of loads, delivery times, mileage, and billing information
• Communicate with drivers in a time-sensitive manner
• Troubleshoot delays, equipment issues, or route disruptions and implement solutions quickly
• Confirm load details, permits, and documentation prior to dispatch
• Support invoicing by ensuring load information and paperwork are accurate and complete
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, drivers, and operations staff
