Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to join our team at our wholesale building product store. This position is responsible for operating a forklift, loading and unloading materials, assisting customers with pickups, maintaining warehouse organization, and occasionally making deliveries in a company van. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, customer-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload building materials

• Assist customers with loading purchased products into their vehicles

• Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against packing slips

• Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations

• Prepare orders for customer pickup and delivery

• Make occasional local deliveries using a company van

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required (certification preferred)

• Prior warehouse or building materials experience a plus

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (for deliveries)

• Ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet throughout the day

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Dependable and punctual

Work Environment & Requirements

• Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures

• Regular lifting, carrying, and moving of heavy building materials

• Closed-toe shoes required at all times

• Safety equipment provided as needed
