Express Employment has teamed up with a custom sportswear company operating right here in Tomah to help fill long term production roles. This company specializes in Letter Jackets and custom-made patches.
1st shift: First Shift Monday through Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm.
Starting Wage: $14.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
Use a press or hand cut leather to match exact order spec.
Upon receipt of work order and material parts, verify that you have all components necessary to complete the order
Ensure you follow the order sheet correctly to avoid material loss
Operate a machine cutter to make sure all linings are cut correctly for each order.
May be tasked with various inspection, leatherwork, or electronic machine operation.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for duration of shift
Repetitive reaching motions
Frequent bending, twisting, turning, and constant use of arms
Ability to work at a fast pace
Qualifications:
Good hand/eye coordination and dexterity
Must be able to see color to ensure order accuracy
Ability to work independently and act decisively
Strong attention to detail
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written instructions
Understanding of measurements
