Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Driver Helper to support deliveries for our valued client, a leading supplier of building materials in the region. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, teamwork, and being out on the road.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Material Handling

• Assist the Delivery Driver with loading and unloading building materials, lumber, and millwork.
• Help secure loads safely and correctly before transport.
• Support accurate, timely deliveries to job sites and customer locations.

Safety

• Follow all company, DOT, and jobsite safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized truck bed and assist with daily safety checks.
• Use proper lifting techniques and handle materials carefully to prevent damage.

Customer Interaction

•  Express Employment in a professional, positive manner.
• Assist with jobsite communication and ensure customer satisfaction during deliveries.

Yard Support

• When not on the road, help with stocking materials, pulling orders, and general yard operations.
• Assist with loading customer vehicles and performing routine yard tasks.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork.
• Previous warehouse, construction, or material-handling experience is a plus — not required.
• Steel-toe boots required.
