Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities to support manufacturing equipment reliability and uptime. This role focuses on preventative and predictive maintenance, machine repair, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance

Follow all safety policies, OSHA standards, and lockout/tagout procedures
Wear required PPE and maintain safe work practices

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime
Maintain and improve maintenance programs and procedures
Recommend and order parts and tools as needed

Tool & Die Maintenance

Maintain and optimize punching and stamping dies
Perform die spotting, fitting, and formability improvements
Clean, inspect, and sharpen dies to extend tool life

Machining & Fabrication

Operate lathe, milling machine, and grinder for repairs and precision adjustments
Support tooling improvements and equipment optimization

Continuous Improvement & Operations Support

Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives
Assist in developing maintenance schedules and systems
Communicate effectively with production and leadership teams
Identify and resolve complex equipment issues efficiently

Qualifications & Requirements

✔ Minimum 3+ years maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing environment
✔ Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
✔ Experience working around metal sheet processing equipment preferred
✔ PLC troubleshooting knowledge preferred
✔ Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus
✔ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
✔ Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
✔ Strong written and verbal communication skills
✔ Positive, proactive, “can-do” attitude
