Sales Desk Representative

Location: Mesquite, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Starting Pay: $18.00/hr during 30–60 day trial period

Position Overview

We’re seeking a motivated, fast-paced Sales Desk Representative to support a busy distribution environment. Ideal candidates are confident on the phone, accurate on the computer, and ready to jump in wherever needed. Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred. Industry experience is a plus, but strong learners with transferable skills are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and assist customers with orders and inquiries
• Enter purchase orders quickly and accurately
• Prepare quotes and follow up to close sales
• Process invoice payments
• Build and maintain customer relationships
• Make outbound calls to existing and prospective customers
• Generate leads and support sales initiatives
• Maintain accurate sales documentation
• Assist with miscellaneous operational/back-end tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Preferred: 5+ years in roofing, guttering, or related construction/materials industries
• Open to: candidates without direct industry experience who show strong drive and aptitude
• Strong phone presence and communication skills
• Fast, accurate computer and data entry skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
