Location: Mount Pleasant, PA Pay Rate: $24–$28/hour (Based on Experience) Schedule: 3rd Shift — Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
The Manual Mill Operator is responsible for setting up and operating manual milling machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires strong inspection skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Set up and operate manual milling machines
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Select proper tooling and fixtures
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments
Make manual adjustments to ensure parts meet specifications
Identify and report nonconforming product
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Experience operating manual milling machines preferred
Ability to accurately use micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring tools
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality
Basic math and mechanical aptitude
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
