Salary: $20-24/hr

We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator for a client in the Rochester NY area. This position involves setting up and operating both coining and air form tooling in a variety of press brakes, including CNC and mechanical machines.

The ideal candidate will be able to produce high-quality parts while meeting established hourly production goals. Additional shop duties may be assigned based on workload. All work must be performed in accordance with our Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC and mechanical press brakes

• Install and adjust coining and air form tooling

• Form sheet metal parts to meet quality and production standards

• Inspect parts using basic measurement tools and record inspection results

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Assist with other shop tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience setting up press brakes

• Experience forming sheet metal parts ranging from .020" to .375" thick (steel, stainless steel, aluminum)

• Ability to use basic inspection equipment to verify part quality

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English

• Ability to lift metal parts for loading/unloading fixtures and tools

• Ability to stand for extended periods (8-hour shift)

• Must work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other sheet metal fabrication equipment (punch press, spot welding, PEM insertion, etc.)
