Express is looking for a Department Manager for a client located in Blandon, PA.  Our client is a locally owned company looking to add more members to its core team!

 

Department Manager

Pay: $22/hour

Shift: 1st Shift Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 6:00am-2:30pm (Days off: Tuesday and Saturday) 

Location: Blandon, PA 

 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the meat department.

• Supervise, train, and support a team of 10–12 employees, including receivers and selectors.

• Conduct and manage regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Manage inventory levels, product rotation, and stock organization.

• Coordinate and oversee receiving and selecting operations to maintain efficiency and accuracy.

• Operate a forklift and assist with product selection when needed.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and food safety standards.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Address performance concerns, provide coaching, and support employee development.

• Other duties assigned 

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of previous supervisory or management experience

• Strong inventory management and organizational skills

• 2+ year of forklift experience required

• Ability to work in a cold environment

• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
