Fabrication Welder

Located in Belfair, WA

Salary: $25-$30

Position Summary:
The Fabrication Welder will be responsible for fabricating and welding components for various landscape supply equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience in hard facing and general fabrication, with the ability to create, modify, and repair parts according to specifications. This position is crucial to maintaining the functionality and efficiency of our operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and weld parts for landscape equipment and machinery, ensuring precision and durability
• Perform hard facing to extend the lifespan of equipment components
  Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to fabricate parts
• Inspect and maintain welding equipment, tools, and materials to ensure proper working condition
• Repair and modify equipment as needed, including troubleshooting and identifying potential issues
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to assess and prioritize projects
• Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards and within project timelines
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures during fabrication and welding activities

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Fabrication Welder, with specific expertise in hard facing
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with a variety of fabrication techniques, including cutting, grinding, and fitting
• Familiarity with welding equipment maintenance and safety procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle the demands of welding and fabrication tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in welding or fabrication is a plus
• Previous experience in a landscape or construction-related industry
