Large Pack Powdered Food Operator - 3rd Shift

Salary: $22.75/hour

Express Employment Professionals are seeking Ingredient Handlers for a Sparta based distributor of Protein and Supplemental Products. This is an incredibly comfortable and temperature-controlled work environment with steady work hours and schedule.

Ingredient Handler

Wage:  $22.75 per hour

 Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 10pm-6am **OT every other Friday as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Safe operation of assigned equipment.
• Scan and dump raw product into processing equipment.
• Fill and verify weight of containers within their required specifications of product.
• Operate labeling equipment and place band or seal on containers.
• Package and stack finished product containers for shipping, using pallets as required.
• Operate forklift to safely move product.
• Clean and sanitize equipment as necessary.
• Assist in all other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management.

Qualifications:

• Recent work experience (within the last 12 months) showing the ability to handle the physicality of the job.
• You may be placed in an area where a respirator is required to wear.
• Team player.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Able to read and understand instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to maintain a forklift license.
