The Molding Department Associate is responsible for operating and maintaining molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts used in automotive manufacturing. This position requires attention to detail, a focus on safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate molding machines safely and efficiently throughout the shift.

• Load raw materials (plastic pellets) into machines and ensure proper machine operation.

• Remove molded parts from machines and inspect them for defects such as flash, short shots, or deformations.

• Trim, clean, and prepare molded parts for packaging or assembly.

• Record production data, including part counts and inspection results.

• Perform basic machine adjustments under supervision.

• Communicate any equipment or quality issues to the supervisor or maintenance team.

• Assist with mold changes and machine setups as needed.

• Keep your workstation clean and organized to support 5S and safety initiatives.

• Work closely with team members to meet or exceed daily production goals.
