We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Press Operatorto join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials that meet precise specifications. Your expertise in print technology, color management, and quality control will ensure the delivery of exceptional products for various marketing, packaging, and advertising applications. What's an average day like as a Press Operator?

• Operate digital printing machinery with precision, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production schedules
• Prepare digital files using prepress techniques, including layout design, typography adjustments, and color management to achieve accurate color reproduction
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on digital printers and related equipment to minimize downtime
• Perform quality control checks throughout the printing process to detect and correct defects or inconsistencies
• Collaborate with graphic designers and production teams to interpret print specifications and ensure alignment with client expectations
• Manage material handling tasks such as loading substrates, setting up presses, and utilizing forklifts when necessary
• Monitor printing parameters during runs to maintain consistent output quality across batches

What we look for in a Press Operator?

• Proven experience operating die-cutting printing equipment within a commercial print environment
• Strong knowledge of die-cutting machine
• Proficiency in prepress workflows, including file preparation and layout design using software
• Expertise in color management techniques to ensure accurate color matching across different substrates
• Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures in print production
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to print machinery and perform basic machining tasks

Schedule:

• 2nd shift 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm Monday - Friday, potential OT
