Express Employment Professionals in Everett is seeking an Experienced Mechanical Assembler / Production Worker for a manufacturing company in Everett, WA. This is a full-time, long‑term opportunity for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoy building, assembling, and working with tools in a fast-paced production environment.
This role involves assembling machinery, preparing sub‑assembly kits, operating power tools, and supporting various manufacturing processes. Candidates with previous production, assembly, or mechanical experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Pay: $22–$25 per hour DOE
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. (OT as needed)
- Location: Everett, WA
- Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
• Assemble machinery and product components in a production line environment
• Build small accessories in individual and series work cells
• Pull and prepare parts for sub‑assembly kits and customer orders
• Operate hand tools and power tools, such as cordless drills and torque guns
• Use pallet jacks and handle materials as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation
• Identify and report equipment or assembly issues to the Line Leader
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages of parts or materials
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production guidelines
• Maintain consistent speed and accuracy while upholding quality and safety expectations
Job Qualifications
• Previous experience in production, assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse roles preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude required
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings preferred
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Comfortable standing, lifting, bending, and walking for extended periods
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Familiarity with safety procedures and proper use of provided PPE
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
• Basic math skills to support assembly and production tasks
