Customer Service Representative – Insurance

Morgantown, WV
Direct Hire | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Up to $25/hour (based on experience)

Our client, a well-established insurance organization in Morgantown, is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to support and grow an existing book of business while delivering exceptional service to commercial clients.

This is a direct-hire opportunity offering strong compensation, excellent benefits, and long-term growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue certificates of insurance
• Support and expand existing client relationships through cross-selling additional lines of coverage
• Meet with clients to review coverage needs and service expectations
• Educate customers on insurance products, coverage options, and risk management solutions
• Provide underwriting with accurate information to facilitate quotes, endorsements, and recommendations
• Maintain detailed documentation to meet carrier binding requirements and procedures
• Collaborate with the Commercial Department to support sales goals
• Deliver technical support, product education, and professional insurance guidance to clients
• Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to maintain industry knowledge and required CEs

Qualifications:

• Active West Virginia Property & Casualty insurance license (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of insurance industry experience
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with computer systems and agency management software

Compensation & Benefits:

• Up to $25/hour, based on experience
