Industrial Painter
Location: Greensburg, PA
Pay: $17-$18/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to support production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial setting. Candidates should have experience with surface preparation, industrial coatings, and spray application methods. Experience working with structural steel, fabricated components, or shop equipment is strongly preferred, and knowledge of safety procedures and PPE requirements is required.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:

• Prepared surfaces for coating by cleaning, degreasing, sanding, grinding, and media blasting steel and metal components

• Applied industrial coatings including epoxy, urethane, enamel, and primer systems using airless and conventional spray equipment

• Masked and protected non-painted areas to ensure clean, accurate finishes and prevent overspray contamination

• Mixed paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications, maintaining correct ratios and viscosity

• Measured and maintained proper mil thickness using wet and dry film thickness gauges

• Operated and maintained spray guns, pressure pots, and blasting equipment

• Performed touch-ups, rework, and finish corrections to meet quality and customer specifications

Requirements of the Administrative Assistant:

• Previous light industrial/warehouse experience
• Knowledge of metals or industrial materials is a plus
• Mechanically inclined, and able to work with hand/power tools 
• Longevity and solid work history 
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information professionally
