ob Summary

Express Employment Professionals is looking for a detail-oriented Encapsulation Operator to join a premier pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Tempe. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of high-speed encapsulation machinery. You will ensure that all products meet strict quality standards while adhering to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate encapsulation machines to fill capsules with pharmaceutical-grade product.

• Quality Control: Perform regular in-process checks (weight, appearance, and integrity) to ensure product meets specifications.

• Compliance: Maintain accurate batch records and documentation in strict accordance with cGMP and FDA guidelines.

• Maintenance & Cleaning: Perform machine changeovers, deep cleaning, and basic troubleshooting to ensure minimal downtime and cross-contamination.

• Safety: Follow all safety protocols, including the use of required PPE and adhering to lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food manufacturing environment (encapsulation experience highly preferred).

• Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot production equipment.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift (8–10 hours).

• Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, strong math skills for weight calculations, and a commitment to workplace cleanliness.
