Community Relationship Ambassador - Part Time

Salary: $25+ DOE

Seeking a friendly, outgoing, social person to represent our small local business at events, mixers, luncheons and when visiting clients or following up with prospects. 

What You'll Do:

• Visit local businesses and maintain regular community presence
• Drop off contracts, marketing materials, samples, etc.
• Observe and report market activity including expansions, hiring, closures, new tenants
• Build rapport with with receptionists, office managers, owners of other small businesses
• Drop off business cards, educational materials, relevant insights as needed

What We're Looking For:

•  Naturally outgoing person who enjoys social interactions
• Observant and curious about local business activity
• Personable, polished and good at striking up conversations
• Strong communication and follow through 
• Self motivated and able to work independently
• Familiar with Santa Cruz County would be a strong plus

This is ideal for someone with very part time availability (1 full day per week) and that thrives being out in the community, building authentic connections and staying informed about happenings in our local business landscape. This is not a high pressure sales position. It's relationship building and visibility focused on presence, awareness and meaningful connection. 

Compensation:

• $25 and up, depending on experience
• Performance bonus structure
• Mileage reimbursement
