Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Store Manager / Inside Sales professional for a well-established plumbing supply company in Fort Lauderdale. This is a confidential search for a growing organization seeking a hands-on leader who can drive sales while overseeing daily store operations.

Position Overview

This dual-role position combines store management responsibilities with inside sales performance. The ideal candidate has experience in the plumbing supply industry (or comparable construction/material distribution industry), can build strong customer relationships, and effectively lead daily branch operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, inventory control, and team performance

• Drive inside sales growth by building and maintaining relationships with contractors, builders, and walk-in customers

• Provide product knowledge and technical support to customers

• Manage order processing, pricing, and vendor coordination

• Ensure excellent customer service and maintain a professional store environment

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing as needed

• Lead and motivate staff to meet sales and operational goals

Qualifications

• Required: Experience in plumbing supply, HVAC supply, or comparable construction/material distribution industry

• Prior management or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong inside sales background with proven revenue growth

• Knowledge of plumbing products, fittings, fixtures, and related materials

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, contractor-driven environment

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
