A well‑established equipment service operation is adding a Heavy Equipment Technician to its team. This role is hands‑on and focused on maintaining and repairing a wide range of machinery used in agriculture, construction, and material handling.

About the Role - Heavy Equipment Technician - Rock Hill, SC 

The technician will work in a shop environment handling maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment such as tractors, mowers, compact loaders, lifts, excavation units, and other diesel‑powered machines. The work calls for strong mechanical skill and a steady, safety‑focused approach to each task.

Key Responsibilities - Heavy Equipment Technician - Rock Hill, SC 

• Perform service, repair, and diagnostics on tractors, agricultural machines, and compact construction equipment
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Complete diesel‑related repair tasks when needed
• Follow established safety practices while maintaining steady workflow
• Support teammates on larger jobs while also taking on independent assignments
• Apply problem‑solving skills for more complex repairs
• Use welding skills when required (preferred, not mandatory)

Preferred Experience Heavy Equipment Technician - Rock Hill, SC 

• 2–3 years working with John Deere equipment or comparable brands (CAT, Bobcat, etc.)
• Diesel system knowledge
• Ability to work both independently and within a team setting
• Strong mechanical reasoning and initiative

Schedule & Pay Heavy Equipment Technician - Rock Hill, SC 

• 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience
