Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist for a leading manufacturer. This is a full-time, highly skilled role requiring expertise in programming, setup, and independent machine operation.

We are seeking tenured machinists with proven experience who are comfortable reading blueprints, programming CNC machines, and producing precision parts with accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities

As a CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include:

Programming, setting up, and independently running CNC machines.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Measuring and verifying precision parts using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, macrometers, and gauges.
Adjusting feeds, speeds, and offsets to ensure product quality.
Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
Conducting in-process inspections to verify tolerances and quality standards.
Logging work, production data, and inspection results accurately.
Collaborating with supervisors and engineers to optimize machining processes.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Requirements

Tenured experience as a CNC Machinist (not entry-level).
Ability to program, set up, and run CNC machines independently.
Strong knowledge of precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform quality checks and adjust machinery for accuracy.
Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.

Skills & Qualifications

CNC programming (G-code/M-code) and setup experience.
Proficiency with precision measurement equipment.
Familiarity with multiple CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis preferred).
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent time management and consistency in performance.

Full-time schedule with steady hours.
