Responsibilities:

• Greet and room patients in a timely and professional manner

• Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints

• Assist providers with examinations and procedures

• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, and specimen collection

• Prepare and clean exam rooms between patients

• Perform basic lab testing and process lab specimens

• Administer medications and vaccines as directed

• Manage patient documentation in EMR system

• Provide excellent customer service and patient education

• Maintain compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards

Qualifications:

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (urgent care or emergency setting preferred)

• Proficiency with EMR systems

• Strong phlebotomy and injection skills

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• CPR/BLS certification required
