Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Machine Operators for a manufacturing facility. This role may also include material handling responsibilities, such as loading and unloading trucks and moving finished goods throughout the facility.

This is a 1st shift position, but all shifts are available with shift differentials. We are specifically seeking candidates with a manufacturing and machine operating background — this is not an entry-level role.

Responsibilities

As a Machine Operator, your responsibilities will include:

Operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure efficiency and quality.
Adjusting machine settings and monitoring tolerances as required.
Performing routine checks and reporting mechanical or operational issues.
Conducting quality inspections and quality control checks on finished products.
Loading raw materials into machines and removing finished goods.
Assisting with material handling, including loading and unloading trucks.
Operating forklifts or other equipment as needed (if qualified).
Maintaining production logs and documentation.
Keeping work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Requirements

Prior Machine Operating / Manufacturing experience REQUIRED.
Experience working in a production or industrial environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or more and perform physical tasks throughout shift.
Comfortable assisting with loading and unloading trucks.
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to follow production specifications and quality standards.
Reliable attendance and consistent work history preferred.
Safety-focused mindset.

Skills & Qualifications

Machine setup and operational monitoring.
Quality inspection and tolerance awareness.
Material handling and forklift experience (preferred).
Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Shifts & Hours

1st Shift (Primary Opening)
2nd & 3rd Shifts available with shift differentials
Full-Time
Overtime may be available based on production needs

Pay & Benefits

$15.00 – $17.00 per hour, based on role and experience.
- Entry-level manufacturing roles start closer to $15.00/hr.
- Higher-skilled machine operators may qualify for up to $17.00/hr.
- Shift differentials apply for 2nd and 3rd shift roles.
Weekly pay through Express Employment Professionals.
