Quality Control Inspector – Aerospace Manufacturing (AS9100 Environment)

Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | $17.50/hr

We are seeking a detail-driven Quality Control Inspector to join our AS9100-certified aerospace manufacturing team. This position is responsible for inspecting aerospace parts to ensure they meet engineering drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and all applicable quality standards. You will support production by identifying nonconforming materials, documenting inspection results, and assisting with quality initiatives that ensure safe, reliable aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, final, and receiving inspections of aerospace components.
• Interpret and verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and work instructions.
• Use precision measuring equipment, including calipers, height gauges, ultrasonic gauges, and related inspection tools.
• Communicate inspection results and quality concerns to production, engineering, and management.
• Identify, tag, and segregate nonconforming material in accordance with company procedures.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action investigations as needed.
• Maintain traceability of materials, parts, and documentation throughout manufacturing.
• Keep a clean, organized, and audit-ready inspection work area.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, height gauges, and ultrasonic gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel for documentation and reporting.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
