Our client has been in business for almost 60 years providing quality products through customizable manufacturing. We are currently hiring for a CNC Operator to join their growing team in Brantford.

Here is What You Will Be Doing

Available Shift: Weekday night shift - Sunday to Thursday 10:00pm to 6:00am

• Run break downs on the machine as per schedule
• Maintain equipment and trouble shoot machine as required
• Inspect, verify gauges and approve raw material for use
• Inspect, verify material and dimensions of part
• Verify quantities of parts to the prints
• Remove slugs from the machine to avoid marking the remaining material
• Maintain all logs, paperwork, and records
• Maintain equipment and conduct minor repairs

Are you Qualified?

• Minimum of 2 years experience in CNC machine operating
• Ability to read blueprints and data sheets
• Intermediate computer skills including Windows systems
• Must know how to use a tape measure and vernier
• Physically fit for heavy lifting up to 40 lbs consistently

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs consistently
• Standing for long periods of time
• Bending, twisting, pushing, pulling and crouching
