Overview

Our client is one of Ontario’s leading metal fabricators, they manufacture a wide variety of metal components for customers across Ontario and worldwide. We are currently hiring for a senior Brake Press operator who is comfortable in all aspects.

Here is What You Will Be Doing

• Set up and operation of CNC Brake Press
• Ensuring that the finished product meets established quality standards using all tools and ISO procedures
• Set up machines in area assigned
• Measure the dimensions of part/product to print
• Reading Blue prints

Are you Qualified?

• Previous experience with the set up and perform brake press
• Ability to confidently read blueprint
• Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Experience using measuring devices
• Ability to troubleshoot through problems that arise

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Ability to lift products up to and including 30 lbs
• Able to bend, crawl, crouch, kneel, push and pull
• Ability to work in a loud environment
• Standing for prolonged periods of time
