Duties:

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of products using a CMM, optical comparator, calipers, micrometers and other measurement tools to accurately document inspection results per inspection procedures
• Write basic CMM programs to measure parts for FAI’s, CPK’s, PQ’s, OQ’s and IQ’s
• Perform basic FAI’s and Gage R&R inspections PQ, OQ and IQ inspections
• Possess Knowledge of standardized CMM fixturing based on part geometry
• Interpret ballooned customer drawings, with basic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance
• Must maintain an accurate library of programs and written setup instructions for all CMM an OGP programs

Requirements:

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office software
• Accurately read and understand blueprints, inspection reports and quality documentation relating to material or
• products
• Must have basic CMM programming experience required with knowledge of Hexagon PCDMIS
• Must have experience with optical comparators, tool mics, pin gages, etc.
• Must have basic understanding of GD&T measurements
• Minimum 1 year experience as a mechanical inspection
• Minimum 1 year CMM experience
• Create basic programs on CMM and OGP
• Basic knowledge of GD&T
• Excellent presentation and reporting skills
• Experience in QMS/Regulator
