Job Title: PRN Surgical Technologist Location: Coral Gables, FL Pay Rate: $32 per hour Job Type: PRN (As-Needed)
We are seeking a skilled and dependable PRN Surgical Technologist to join our team in Coral Gables. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. As a PRN team member, you will provide support on an as-needed basis to ensure smooth and efficient surgical operations.
Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are sterile and available
Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure efficiency and patient safety
Handle specimens according to protocol
Clean and restock operating rooms after procedures
Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
Active BLS certification
Minimum of 1 year of surgical tech experience preferred
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and sterile techniques
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
