Express Employment Professionals is hiring  Machine Operators with Metal cutting and/or Grinding experience to work in a metal distributor company, furnishing premium domestic and DFARS materials. The company has focus in aerospace, firearm, and other precision machining and fabricating industries. As a machine operator you will be tasks with cutting, grinding and finishing of metal product to job order specifications.

Job Location: E. Granby

Salary: $20/hr

Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

Qualifications:

• Work of 2+ years consistently with a manufacturing company
• Must be able to use saws and grinding machines in a shop environment
• Must be able to lift heavy material
• Have excellent measuring & math skills
• Forklift experience a plus
• Handling steel parts

Responsibilities:

• Maintain scheduled rate of production at the work center
• Run machines and saws
• Load and unload parts from machines
• Cutting steel parts
• Measuring material
• Moving materials with forklift
