Pipe Rehabilitation Technician – Skills & Experience Overview
candidates must have strong hands-on experience installing and rehabilitating sewer, water, and storm drain piping systems in accordance with project specifications. Their background includes:Core Skills• Installation of sewer, water, and storm drain utilities, including systems 6 inches and larger• Skilled in pipe rehabilitation (not new construction)• Experience operating and maintaining pipe lasers and related equipment• Ability to assist with trenching, backfilling, grading, and site preparation• Familiar with pipe bursting techniques (experience is a plus)Strengths• Works safely and efficiently in active utility environments• Understands proper alignment, elevation, and grade requirements• Reliable support for both installation and repair crews• Comfortable working in confined spaces and variable site conditions
