A local company in Knoxville, TN is seeking a dependable Sewer to operate industrial sewing machines in the production of military and law enforcement equipment. This role involves sewing heavy-duty materials while meeting quality and production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble tactical gear and equipment

• Sew heavy materials such as nylon, canvas, and webbing

• Follow production specifications, patterns, and quality guidelines

• Inspect finished products for accuracy and defects

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Meet daily production goals while maintaining high quality standards

• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications:

• Previous sewing or industrial sewing experience preferred

• Ability to work with heavy fabrics and materials

• Attention to detail and quality

• Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive motions

• Dependable with good attendance

• Manufacturing experience a plus
