Law Clerk
Located in Sarnia, ON
Salary: $23.00 - $26.00+/Hour
Our client, a well-established law firm, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Law Clerk to support their legal team across Wills & Estates, Corporate, and related practice areas. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and client service.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and revise legal documents related to wills, powers of attorney, estates, and corporate matters
- Assist with estate administration files, including probate applications and estate reporting
- Support corporate files such as incorporations, annual returns, resolutions, and minute books
- Manage client files from opening to closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines
- Communicate with clients, financial institutions, courts, and external professionals as required
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical files
- Perform general clerical and administrative duties to support lawyers and legal staff
Qualifications:
- Law Clerk diploma or equivalent relevant experience
- Previous experience in Wills & Estates and/or Corporate Law preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple files and priorities efficiently
- Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office
Wage: $23.00 - $26.00+/Hour Based on Experience
