Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Production Manager to lead and oversee manufacturing operations in a fast-paced food production environment. This role is responsible for managing production teams, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met, and driving efficiency during second shift operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and develop production supervisors and hourly team members on 2nd shift

• Oversee daily production schedules to ensure output, quality, and efficiency targets are met

• Ensure strict compliance with food safety, GMP, and sanitation standards

• Monitor production metrics, downtime, and labor utilization

• Collaborate with QA, maintenance, and warehouse teams to resolve production issues

• Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety-first culture

• Conduct shift handoffs and communicate production status to leadership

• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

Requirements:

• 5+ years of manufacturing management experience (food manufacturing strongly preferred)

• Proven experience leading teams in a production environment

• Strong knowledge of food safety standards (GMPs, HACCP, sanitation)

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Comfortable working 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in high-volume food production or packaging environments

• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
