Forklift Mechanic Apprentice
Express Employment on 61st and Center is currently recruiting for a Forklift Mechanic Apprentice to join a company in Omaha, NE!

Position Details:
•    Type: Evaluation Hire
•    Schedule: 7am-3:30pm
•    Location: Omaha, NE
•    Pay/Salary: $18-$19

Job Duties:
•    Assist senior mechanics with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of forklifts and material-handling equipment
•    Perform routine preventative maintenance, including fluid checks, lubrication, and part replacements
•    Diagnose basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues under supervision
•    Maintain accurate service records and work orders
•    Follow safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and OSHA guidelines at all times
•    Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
•    Learn proper use of tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals
•    Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
•    Mechanical aptitude with a strong interest in equipment repair or maintenance
•    Basic knowledge of engines, electrical systems, or hydraulics preferred
•    Ability to use hand and power tools safely
•    Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians
•    Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
•    Reliable attendance and positive work ethic
