Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitorial Staff member to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our church community in St. Joseph, MI. This role offers flexible scheduling and is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize church facilities including restrooms, classrooms, offices, and common areas
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust as needed
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles
• Set up or clean up rooms for services, meetings, or events as needed
• Restock cleaning supplies and report low inventory
• Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Ensure building areas are secure during assigned shifts

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable and trustworthy
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing
